Nursery Manager Role

As a Nursery Manager at Fennies Day Nurseries Ltd, you will be at the heart of our organisation, leading a team of dedicated professionals to provide high-quality care and education for children. Your role will be to build, develop, and maintain a team that delivers exceptional outcomes for children, families, and the local community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead your team to deliver high-quality childcare and education, ensuring that children receive the best possible start in life.
  • Communicate effectively with your team, families, and the local community, ensuring that everyone is informed and engaged.
  • Develop and implement plans to support the growth and development of children, including welcoming new employees and children into the nursery.
  • Collaborate with other Fennies nursery settings to become an integral part of our community, leading by example and demonstrating our values.
  • Evaluate the performance of your setting and make improvements on a continuous basis, ensuring that children receive the best possible care and education.
  • Monitor children's learning and development, reporting to families and staff members, and ensuring that all necessary provisions are in place to provide high-quality care.
  • Implement and maintain key person, safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality systems, ensuring that all necessary protocols are in place.
  • Administer medication, provide first aid, and implement critical care policies, ensuring that children receive the best possible care.
  • Prepare for and respond to Ofsted visits, ensuring that your setting is always ready for inspection.
  • Derive solutions to resolve issues and complaints, ensuring that families and staff members are satisfied with the outcome.
  • Build connections with support functions, ensuring that you feel part of our wider family and can focus on making an impact for each and every child.
  • Provide stunning facilities that create an engaging and stimulating environment for children to learn and for your teams to inspire young learners.
  • Communicate updates and initiatives in regular meetings, ensuring that everyone is informed and engaged.
