About the Role

The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications in Music Therapy and experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with Autism, ADHD, and emotional/behavioral needs. You will be responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment where children can explore self-expression through music.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver music therapy sessions to children with SEN
  • Work with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized music therapy plans
  • Use music as a therapeutic tool to support emotional regulation and social development
  • Collaborate with the team to enhance children's learning and development through music
Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications in Music Therapy (HCPC registration required)
  • Proven experience working with children with SEN, particularly those with Autism, ADHD, and emotional/behavioral needs
  • Expertise in using music as a therapeutic tool to support emotional regulation and social development
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with children, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • A clear DBS check
  • Legal right to work in the UK
