About the Role:

Care UK is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Deputy Manager to join our team at our Cathkin House Care Home in Glasgow. As a Clinical Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in providing inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues, overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical and pastoral care, and supporting the Home Manager in their duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing and care colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services.
  • Support the Home Manager in their duties, including deputising for them as required.
  • Oversee the delivery of clinical and pastoral care to residents, including those with complex needs.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of residents.
  • Conduct clinical assessments and take decisions to ensure the highest levels of clinical governance.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements:

  • NMC Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN or RNLD) with a strong background in care planning and clinical assessment.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, with experience of leading teams and developing staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality care and services.
  • Knowledge of clinical governance and risk management principles.
