About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Coordinator to join our team at Boutique Modern Ltd. As a Technical Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of projects, supporting the Technical Manager and contributing to the organization's cross-functional resilience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain Viewpoint for projects on assigned projects, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Prepare detailed design programmes with the support of the Technical Manager, ensuring timely and effective project delivery.
  • Agree scopes and appoint external consultants, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Lead design team meetings during design development stages, delivering design information and ensuring stakeholder approval.
  • Submit Building Control Applications and monitor and maintain building control trackers on assigned projects, ensuring full approval with all required technical submissions.
  • Monitor and Maintain Building Warranty trackers on assigned projects, ensuring full approval with all required technical submissions.
  • Review design information for technical compliance to building regulations and warranty requirements, ensuring stakeholder approval is achieved ahead of construction.
  • Respond to RFI schedules from construction and commercial teams in a timely manner, ensuring effective project delivery.
  • Visit site weekly when required, ensuring site-related design and detailing issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate drawings and work to ensure no scope gaps in design or construction occur.
  • Deliver project status at any moment, hosting, attending, and being useful in the delivery of projects in person and team meetings and site meetings.
Requirements
  • Technical Design experience - either from a consultancy or developer/main contracting background.
  • Developer and main contractor experience.
  • Able to be part of a diverse and dynamic team, adding to our communication and culture.
  • Resilient, driven, future-focused, conscientious, reliable, creative, and flexible.
  • Ability to run or step up to be responsible for design and technical function of our developments with the support of the department manager.
  • UK Driver's License required for site visits.
