Job Overview:
We are pleased to present a remarkable opportunity for a senior-level procurement professional representing our client in the East Yorkshire area.
* This position is designed to ensure the effective and economical acquisition of goods and services across various categories by utilizing collective purchasing strength and applying best-in-class procurement methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate and execute category management strategies.
- Guide the organization in recognizing, evaluating, and mitigating potential risks linked to various sourcing and contract management approaches for designated spending categories.
- Guarantee that category management strategies achieve high levels of transactional efficiency and align with procurement-to-pay (P2P) objectives.
- Review and revise contracts, including service level agreements and essential performance metrics.
- Assess and monitor supplier performance in relation to category management strategies.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven knowledge and experience in executing procurement initiatives across diverse spending categories.
- Proficient in contract negotiation, performance management strategies, and supplier relationship management.
- Possession of a CIPS qualification is preferred.
