Project Manager - Engineering Lead
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead the planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects at Reckitt. As an Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for managing the installation, commissioning, and validation of process and packaging equipment, facility upgrades, utilities, and infrastructure upgrades.
About the Role
The successful candidate will have a strong engineering background, preferably in the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry, and experience in managing internal and external resources to ensure project activities are completed on time, to budget, and to the required specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning and implementation of capital and revenue projects
- Control all aspects of project activity, including engineering, design, program, safety management, procurement, commissioning, and validation
- Prepare capital expenditure justification packages
- Manage capital budget
- Maintain awareness of technological and regulatory standards
- Formulate creative technical solutions
- Negotiate with suppliers and contractors
Requirements
- Engineering qualification, degree level, BTEC HNC, or ONC
- Experience in managing internal and external resources to ensure project activities are completed on time, to budget, and to the required specification
- Working knowledge of GMP requirements for facilities and equipment
- Ability to identify and manage project blockers before a critical path is affected
- Can plan engineering works to minimize impact on production operations
- Adaptable and flexible to changes required from the business
