Global Key Account Manager

SMA Solar Technology AG is seeking a highly skilled Global Key Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with our largest customers, driving sales growth, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the global key account team to achieve sales targets and grow the business
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers within customers' organizations to understand their needs and preferences
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of SMA's product range and its applications in the renewable energy sector
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of the sales process and provide excellent customer service
- Manage the global profitability of the account and identify opportunities for growth
- Develop and maintain a detailed stakeholder map, including engagement levels and influence on buying decisions
- Improve SMA's scoring year-over-year and grow the share of business
- Technical qualification with suitable career progression and work experience in a similar role
- OR degree qualified in a relevant discipline (electrical engineering, commerce)
- 8+ years sales, development, or business development experience in the project space
- Experience in the renewable industry is strongly preferable
- Experience working with multinational corporations
- Masters or other postgraduate qualification
- Fluency in multiple languages
