Financial Manager Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Accounts Manager to join our team at a modern and forward-thinking accountancy firm based in Macclesfield. As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing client portfolios, handling complex accounts preparation, and overseeing the finalisation of financial statements.
This is an excellent opportunity to step into a leadership position while maintaining hands-on involvement with accounts preparation and corporation tax reviews. You will work closely with our senior management team to drive business growth and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage client portfolios and oversee the preparation of financial statements
- Handle complex accounts preparation and review
- Develop and implement financial planning and reporting strategies
- Collaborate with the senior management team to drive business growth and development
- ACA or ACCA qualified
- Experience in accounts preparation and review
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive salary up to £45,000 depending on experience
- Option for a full-time or 4-day workweek
