Job Title: Quality and Compliance Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality and Compliance Lead to join our team at University Hospital Southampton NHS Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance across our nurseries, working closely with the Leadership and Management team to deliver integrated working and consistent quality childcare.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and motivating a team to provide high standards of childcare and education, ensuring compliance with the EYFS statutory framework, OFSTED regulations, and the Children's Act.
  • Planning and delivering change projects to improve nursery operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Line managing the Childcare Advisory service and Childcare Advisor.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in an Early Years Childcare related subject or equivalent sector experience, alongside a Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
  • Experience of managing an Early Years setting or an experienced deputy manager with skills and aspirations to work at this level.
  • Ability to manage a large team and drive improvements in performance.
  • Flexibility to work shifts between 0700-1830 Monday to Friday throughout the year.
