We are excited to present an opportunity for professionals in these fields to contribute to our community pain management service as a Specialist Physiotherapist.
We provide a supportive work environment with full-time hours from 9-5, Monday to Friday, offering competitive compensation, coverage of professional registration fees, and dedicated time for professional growth. The role includes both clinic and remote work options.
Key Responsibilities of the Specialist Physiotherapist in Pain Management:
- Delivering effective and compassionate pain management solutions to individuals and groups as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Enhancing patient understanding of pain, rehabilitation, and self-management techniques both individually and in group settings.
- Tailoring pain management strategies to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Adhering to clinical standards in compliance with regulatory requirements, including infection control and patient safety.
- Participating in clinical team development and multidisciplinary meetings.
- Recognizing the significance of psychological approaches in pain management.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience and interest in chronic pain management.
- Valid NMC or HCPC professional registration.
- Background in physiotherapy, nursing, or occupational therapy.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy techniques.
