Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter / Joiner to join our team at Morgan Sindall Property Services, providing integrated asset management for housing associations and local authorities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance work in social housing settings.
About the Role
As a Carpenter / Joiner, you will be working on a variety of trade repairs and maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, patch plastering, window/door lock changes, and all aspects of joinery. You will be required to work efficiently and safely, using handheld devices to complete assigned tasks, and to achieve excellent customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out responsive and planned repairs to occupied and void properties
- Undertake a variety of trade repairs and maintenance work, including minor plumbing, patch plastering, and window/door lock changes
- Work efficiently and safely, using handheld devices to complete assigned tasks
- Participate on the on-call rota
Requirements
- Relevant trade City and Guilds qualification
- Excellent working H & S knowledge
- Customer-focused with experience of working in both occupied and void properties
- Valid full or automatic UK driving licence held for a minimum of 12 months
