HR Recruit is seeking an experienced HR professional to oversee the efficient delivery of transactional HR services. Reporting into the Director of People & Culture, this role entails leading a dedicated team, managing HR processes, fostering stakeholder relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and Manage the HR Shared Services Team: Provide direction, support, and mentorship to team members for delivering transactional HR services.
  • Develop and Implement Standard Operating Procedures: Create service level agreements and performance metrics to ensure service excellence.
  • Provide Guidance and Support: Assist team members in resolving complex HR queries and issues.
  • Oversee HR Processes: Manage employee records, payroll, benefits administration, and HRIS maintenance.
  • Conduct Audits and Reviews: Assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
Person Specification:
  • Proven Experience: Managing a HR function, including the full HR lifecycle.
  • Team Management: Coordinating and managing a high-performing team.
  • HR Knowledge: Strong knowledge of HR processes, policies, and employment regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Personable: Ability to establish effective rapport with stakeholders.
  • Organisation: Highly organised, with the ability to schedule, plan, and prioritise.

This role would suit someone who has either set up HR in an organisation or who knows what a good HR shared services function looks like. In return, you will receive a salary of between 50-55K (FTE).
