About the Role:

As a Technical API Designer, you will collaborate closely with a team of skilled Domain Architects, Designers, and Developers within an Agile environment. Your primary responsibility will be to create innovative and robust API designs based on established business models and resource frameworks.

You will play a crucial role in identifying potential gaps within existing API standards and data models, ensuring seamless integration and data flow across our technology platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop RESTful APIs adhering to industry best practices and established design principles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into comprehensive API specifications.
  • Conduct thorough gap analysis of existing data models and propose solutions for seamless integration.
  • Contribute to the development of microservice architectures and database designs that support scalable and resilient systems.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and trends in API design and integration.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in RESTful API design principles, JSON data formats, and layered architecture concepts.
  • Experience with software modeling techniques and component design methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling concepts, including logical and physical modeling.
  • Familiarity with microservice architectures and database design patterns.
