About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Solution Architect to join our team at TSB Bank. As a key member of our engineering capability, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing payments technology solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement payments technology solutions that align with our overall enterprise architecture
  • Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations on adoption and integration
  • Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and scalable
  • Lead ART/Feature Teams and work in a Scaled Agile context
Requirements
  • Operating at Senior Solution Architecture level, specifically within UK low value domestic Payments scheme implementation (Faster Payments, NPA, BACS)
  • Experience with ISO-20022 data modelling and designing Payments solutions covering fraud, sanctions screening, case management, Treasury, Reconciliation, API gateway design
  • Familiarity with UK Payments vendor community and experience working with UK Finance entities
  • Experience of Cloud Architecture, ideally certified in AWS to Solution Architect level
  • Experience of designing event driven microservices architecture
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with stakeholders and demonstrable decision making
