Position Overview
Are you an Automation Systems Engineer, Software Controls Engineer, or an Electrical Engineer with a keen interest in enhancing automation and optimizing plant performance? We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our engineering team due to an upcoming retirement.

Role Responsibilities
In this day-based position, you will be part of a highly skilled engineering team, focusing on delivering automation enhancement solutions and troubleshooting issues related to PLC-controlled equipment and networks.

Key Duties Include:
1. Collaborating with existing Software and Controls Engineers to maintain all software and hardware infrastructure and control systems.
2. Identifying and executing continuous improvement initiatives aimed at boosting plant efficiency, minimizing downtime, and reducing energy costs.
3. Concentrating on enhancing plant performance and efficiency, assisting in breakdown resolutions, and leading investigations into root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent future issues.
4. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement while adapting to a reliability-centered maintenance approach in a highly automated production environment.

Safety and Compliance
Ensuring adherence to relevant safety standards across all activities, including those involving external contractors. You will also ensure that plant controls are safe for operation and that personnel comply with health and safety regulations.

Financial Management
Supporting the development of site revenue and capital budgets while identifying and leading the execution of relevant capital projects.

Continuous Improvement
Driving a proactive Engineering Continuous Improvement culture across various functions by contributing to the enhancement and development of manufacturing hardware and software activities.

Training and Development
Providing training and coaching to Engineers to ensure they possess the necessary knowledge in PLC/control systems to support bakery performance effectively.

Supplier Management
Maintaining supplier contract content and relationships, while regularly reviewing supplier effectiveness.
