About the Role

This is a new position resulting from CSL Seqirus' new Operating Model and the establishment of a Global Financial Operations & Systems Team.

The role is part of the Financial Operations & Systems team and is responsible for supporting the Manager for Financial Operations to deliver accurate and timely execution of financial activities.

This role will support in the preparation of financial reports, accounts, and statements across the set of entity codes. It also includes support for projects and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial working papers for review and submission to a third party.
  • Prepare journals and reclassification entries regarding financial transactions.
  • Prepare and post financial invoices in line with Group policy.
  • Assist with reconciliations, for financial accounts.
  • Prepare, review, and investigate financial discrepancies.
  • Prepare and post month-end financial journals.
  • Support wider financial operations and systems team.
  • Support continuous improvement plans and projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
  • Proven experience in accounting and finance.
  • Experience in global scientific/pharmaceutical industry highly desirable.

This role requires several important behavioral competencies to be successful:

  • Effective priority setting.
  • Strong analytical thinking.
  • Organizational agility.
  • Excellent attention to detail.

The position also requires the ability to build and maintain sound relationships and collaborate effectively with multiple levels and cross-functionally with Finance Business Partners and various Finance Centres of Excellence.
