Respiratory Healthcare Scientist/Physiologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Healthcare Scientist/Physiologist to join our expanding team at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Respiratory Physiology department, you will contribute to the provision of high-quality care for patients with a broad spectrum of respiratory pathology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a range of routine and highly complex diagnostic procedures on adults, including lung function, CPET, and sleep analysis.
  • Ensure data quality by undertaking equipment calibration and quality control for all tests performed within the laboratory.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to junior staff and trainees.
  • Contribute to the development and progression of the department through continuous professional development and knowledge sharing.
