Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled HV Cable Project Manager to lead the delivery of turnkey HV substation projects for our key customers. As a key member of our Systems delivery team, you will collaborate with Technical Lead Engineers, Procurement teams, and Installation & Commissioning teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the project, including technical, procurement, and quality information.
- Maintain high standards of Health and Safety throughout the project.
- Manage risks, variations, and opportunities.
- Prepare progress reports and engage with customers on technical queries and project reporting.
- Support the tendering department on future project opportunities.
Requirements
- Project Engineering/Contract Management experience in the Transmission & Distribution Industry.
- Strong understanding of Transmission & Distribution standards and technologies.
- Knowledge of Substation Primary & Secondary Systems.
- Good knowledge and understanding of current Health and Safety and Environmental Regulations.
- Risk Management processes.
- Contractual management, particularly with NEC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic, ability to work independently, and proactive approach.
