About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pensions Administrator to join our dynamic administration team in Glasgow. As a key member of our Client Services team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality administration services to our clients and members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and update member records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Process member events, including retirements, deaths, early leavers, transfers in, transfers out, and illustrative quotations.
  • Act as a point of reference for technical issues and non-standard cases, escalating complex queries to the Team Leader and technical support team members.
  • Provide a consistent and efficient service to internal and external clients/members, adhering to agreed service levels.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Administrator and Team Leader to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Manage annual and periodic scheme events, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Coach and assist less experienced administrators in developing their experience and confidence.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in day-to-day pension administration, with a strong understanding of DB, DC, and CARE pension arrangements.
  • Commercial awareness of the UK Pensions Market, with up-to-date knowledge of relevant pension legislation, technical developments, and industry best practice.
  • Experience with Pensions Administration systems, such as UPM or similar.
  • Excellent client care or customer services skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients over the telephone.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly and concisely communicate with clients, members, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team, leading by example and aiding in the coaching and development of junior colleagues.
