Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Preston East Adult Community Mental Health Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality psychological services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and develop effective treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Provide evidence-based psychological therapies, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and other approaches as needed.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient-centered outcomes.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community stakeholders to promote mental health awareness and support.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in mental health care.
Requirements
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in specialist psychological assessment and treatment of clients across various care settings.
- Strong knowledge of research methodology, research design, and complex data analysis.
- Ability to teach and train others, using complex multimedia materials.
- Capacity to identify and employ mechanisms of clinical governance to maintain high-quality clinical practice.
