Job Overview
We are pleased to announce a full-time opportunity for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to become a vital part of our enthusiastic and supportive team within the ENT outpatient department. Our focus is on delivering exceptional care to patients, including those affected by head and neck cancers. As a member of the ENT outpatient team, you will have the chance to acquire new and essential nursing competencies applicable across various clinics, such as minor operations, nurse-led aural care, skin allergy assessments, and olfactory testing.
We are looking for a dedicated, motivated, and compassionate Nurse to join our team. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential. While prior experience in ENT or head and neck nursing is preferred, it is not mandatory, as comprehensive training and support will be provided to the successful candidate.
This role requires flexibility, as staff will be expected to work across multiple sites. Complimentary transportation is available for staff between locations.
Key Responsibilities
This position offers an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse/Nursing Associate to join the ENT nursing team within the outpatient department.
You will collaborate closely with all members of our multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients attending various clinic appointments, including head and neck cancer consultations, tracheostomy management, nurse-led aural care, minor procedures, and allergy testing.
Strong communication skills are crucial in our specialty, as we often work with patients who have communication challenges. Therefore, it is vital that Nurses can demonstrate both effective verbal and non-verbal communication abilities.
While prior experience in ENT or head and neck nursing is not essential, we seek individuals eager to learn new skills and grow both personally and as part of a team.

Responsibilities of the Role
As a Registered Nurse in the ENT Outpatient department, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care.
- Communicating effectively with patients, caregivers, and all members of the multidisciplinary team.
- Managing your time efficiently to handle a defined caseload of patients.
- Adhering to professional standards and accountability as outlined by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and Trust policies.

- Providing holistic, patient-centered care.
- Assessing patient conditions and implementing appropriate care within your scope of practice.
