We are seeking an ambitious and passionate Deputy Children's Home Manager to join our client's growing team in the Mansfield area. This role offers a unique opportunity to participate in a training programme designed to help you become a Residential Manager of your very own children's home.
This is a chance to join a new 2-bed home project from the very beginning, shaping the home's culture, care, and team, with the full support of a dedicated management structure.
Why This Role Stands Out:- Competitive salary: £45,000 to £50,000, with achievable bonuses
- Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 working hours
- Career development: No need for a Level 5 qualification or registered manager experience—we'll fully support you with training, OFSTED registration, and a management programme to guide your development.
- Ensure compliance with Children's Homes Regulations and maintain OFSTED standards
- Provide high-quality support to achieve positive outcomes for the children
- Work alongside senior leaders to plan residential services, improvements, and strategic direction
- Manage the day-to-day operational needs of the home, ensuring all policies and health and safety guidelines are met
- Create and maintain Person-Centred Plans for all children, reviewing them regularly to ensure the best care
