About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team, supporting children and young people with learning disabilities and/or a diagnosis of autism.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform and analyse complex assessments to inform clinical decisions
  • Develop and implement effective communication strategies to support individuals with complex needs
  • Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to provide holistic support to children and young people
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice within the service
Requirements
  • Speech and Language Therapy degree and registration with HCPC
  • Significant postgraduate experience in speciality services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including observation, listening, counselling, and empathy skills
  • Ability to analyse complex assessment information and make specialist clinical decisions
