Job Summary

The post holder is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of car parking facilities at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust, adhering to Trust Policies and procedures. They will work closely with the Trust's values, providing information and directions to visitors, enforcing parking restrictions as per the Trust's Car Parking Management Policy.

Main Responsibilities
  • Liaise with staff, patients, and visitors to ensure adherence to the Trust's Car Parking Management Policy.
  • Issue parking charge notices for illegally parked vehicles and record non-compliances on an electronic incident database.
  • Communicate and enforce car parking regulations professionally to staff, patients, and visitors.
  • Resolve car parking disputes and escalate to the Deputy Car Parking Manager when necessary.
  • Report accidents and incidents in car parking areas to the Deputy Car Parking Manager.
  • Conduct regular checks on Car Parks and Pay Stations, reporting faults to the Car Park Administrator team.
  • Ensure Pay Stations have sufficient tickets and order car parking consumables as needed.
  • Patrol car parks to verify permits/payment receipts are displayed correctly.
  • Monitor car park areas for risks and obstructions, maintaining safe access.
  • Manage car parking spaces and communicate with the Car Parking Office via radio.
