Verisk is seeking a dedicated Technical Program Manager to enhance its expanding Technology division. This position will oversee, allocate resources, and manage various technology-driven projects, particularly focusing on our current SaaS platform that delivers risk analytics data and its upcoming successor set for development in the near future.
The Technical Program Manager plays a crucial role, bridging the gap between the Technology division and the broader organization, facilitating the achievement of Verisk's technical goals and the overarching Technology Strategy through effective resource management and collaboration with senior leadership.
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic about diverse technologies and takes pride in delivering high-quality, structured technical solutions.
This role is part of a multidisciplinary team of around 24 professionals within the Technology sector at Verisk, contributing to the delivery of innovative solutions that cater to our clients' current and future requirements. The position is central to the organization, closely interacting with both the Technology team and internal stakeholders.
A solid understanding of agile project management is essential, along with a comprehensive knowledge of software and infrastructure development principles, including modern development practices, version control, security, compliance, and cost management. The role demands the ability to gather requirements across various technical fields and unite teams to ensure the successful execution of Verisk's projects.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the CTO, Head of Software, and Technical Leads to implement the company's Technology Strategy, ensuring that Verisk's technical solutions align with established standards and objectives.
- Partner with the Head of Product and CTO to define, maintain, and oversee Verisk's development roadmap.
- Supervise resource distribution and ensure alignment across teams on multidisciplinary projects, advocating for priorities and justifications.
- Work in tandem with Developers, Project Owners, UX designers, and QA engineers to manage the release process, including content, dependencies, and timelines.
- Engage with agile development teams to assist in requirements gathering, refinement, and delivery of user-centric enhancements, ensuring that ceremonies are efficient and effective.
- Serve as a liaison for the broader organization and clients with the Technology team to manage risks, expectations, and provide occasional technical support.
- Oversee and coordinate the index data release/update process, collaborating with multiple business functions and acting as the primary contact for mediation activities.
- Manage urgent work requests that require immediate attention.
- Identify and promote opportunities to enhance code quality, development processes, and team satisfaction, championing coding standards and compliance.
