About the Role
As a Customer Delivery Driver at Tesco, you will be the face of our company on the road, delivering exceptional customer service to our valued customers. You will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive their shopping in a timely and efficient manner, while also providing a warm and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver customer shopping trips in a safe and efficient manner.
  2. Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  3. Ensure that the van and trays are clean and organized at all times.
  4. Load and unload the van as required, checking the van for roadworthiness.
  5. Communicate with customers about any changes to their order, including short code items and substitutions.
  6. Take care of products and deliveries as if they were your own.
  7. Deliver during the customer's time slot, calling them before arriving if early.
  8. Call the store or centre if running 30 or more minutes late.

Requirements
  1. Build relationships with colleagues to create a positive team environment.
  2. Be warm and welcoming in interactions with customers and colleagues.
  3. Act quickly to respond to changing customer needs and adapt to new situations.
  4. Energetic and driven to deliver exceptional results.
  5. Share ideas with managers and colleagues on how to improve the customer experience.
  6. A UK/EU/EEA driving license (full or automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 3 penalty points.
  7. Able to adhere to GB Domestic Driving Rules.
