About the Role
As a Customer Delivery Driver at Tesco, you will be the face of our company on the road, delivering exceptional customer service to our customers across the UK. This role is about more than just driving; it's about helping others and delivering great service with a smile.

Your day will be filled with variety, as you'll be interacting with different customers in their homes every day. You'll be responsible for ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized, loading the van as required, and delivering products to customers during their designated time slots. You'll also be expected to communicate effectively with customers, handle any issues that may arise, and provide excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver customer shopping trips by ensuring the van and trays are clean and organized.
  • Load the van as required and check the van for roadworthiness.
  • Interact with customers, handle any issues that may arise, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, including explaining any changes to their order and offering refunds for any issues.
  • Take care of products and deliveries as if they were your own.
  • Call customers before arriving at their property if early and call the store/centre if running 30 or more minutes late.
