Senior Quantity Surveyor

Chubb Fire & Security Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of a portfolio of design and build projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Administration of Main Contracts, including project control information, change management, and cash collection.
- Administration of Subcontract Agreements, including execution of the project subcontract strategy.
- Providing advisory services regarding standard forms of agreement, their administration, and ensuring best practices are adopted and implemented throughout the project lifespan.
- Assisting in the development and responsibility for procurement and negotiation of all Subcontracts.
- Working with the Project Manager to identify early warnings within the Subcontract environment.
- Assisting in the administration of Instructions and the like.
- Assisting with the preparation of accurate project control information to evaluate progress against the agreed construction programme(s).
- Managing the team's ethics, quality, and EH&S requirements, ensuring that all team members are aware of their EH&S obligations and that they understand and comply with EH&S Policies.
- Ensuring that the team maintains a safe place of work and working environment both on site and off site.
- Graduate calibre with experience in business processes, a 'hands-on' approach, sharing and enacting best practice.
- Experience in quantifying works in accordance with Standard Measurement Rules.
- Experience in the administration of contracts in both client and subcontract.
- Experience in influencing and management of confrontational and difficult situations in a professional manner.
