About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Support Team Leader to join our team at Sense. As a Senior Support Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting individuals with complex disabilities to live the life they choose.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals/groups/teams within the home, center, and community.
  • Provide a customized, responsive, and high-quality service to people with multiple sensory impairments, physical, and/or learning disabilities who use Sense services.
  • Deliver services that meet or exceed organizational expectations and standards.
Requirements
  • A full UK license and willingness/ability to drive our vehicles.
  • Experience of using British Sign Language (BSL) or having a BSL or Makaton qualification is desirable.
  • You will need to be a good role model.
  • Experience of mentoring and inducting staff, supporting staff through supervisions, and creating development plans.
  • Previous experience as a support worker or team leader in a similar setting – we're happy to work with you to help you become an excellent Team Leader.
