How will you contribute to our success?

In this role, you will oversee and enhance all technical elements of the dunhill Menswear Ready-to-Wear (RTW) and soft accessories lines, ensuring that product risks are minimized. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain functionality and meet customer expectations while upholding quality as a fundamental principle across all Menswear RTW and soft accessories offerings. You will also ensure that all products comply with Richemont and international standards, managing the Quality and Technical team throughout the product lifecycle.

PRODUCT LIFECYCLE MANAGEMENT

  • Provide technical guidance to Design, Product Development, Merchandising, and Suppliers to align with the Menswear business objectives and promote quality throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Menswear Product Development to establish realistic and achievable critical paths, ensuring key milestones are met.
  • Oversee and coordinate the fitting process from initial prototypes to pre-production approvals, considering design, development, industrialization, and quality standards.
  • Conduct seasonal risk assessments during the development of all Menswear RTW and soft accessories, offering solutions through testing and due diligence to enhance product industrialization.
  • Manage supplier communications and product sealing to ensure accurate engineering and industrialization for production.
  • Supervise suppliers and team members to guarantee that products are approved for production within designated timelines.
  • Facilitate the transition of products to the Menswear field quality inspector to ensure a seamless handover.

PRODUCT QUALITY AND REGULATORY COMPLIANCE

  • Oversee the product testing program and ensure compliance with care label standards.
  • Deliver exceptional quality, consistent fit, and production standards in collaboration with relevant teams and suppliers.
  • Maintain quality standards through the publication and distribution of Make standards, Measurements, Labelling, Supplier Manuals, Testing Manual, and Blocks/Grading Manual.
  • Ensure that technical and testing manuals are updated in accordance with CSR and Richemont compliance guidelines.
  • Provide quality and technical expertise to support the product compliance team.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Evaluate critical paths to ensure that deadlines for technical tasks are achievable and agreed upon.
  • Support made-to-measure initiatives related to product testing and compliance.
  • Collect, summarize, and share data for Supplier Measures and KPI reports, taking action based on the results.
  • Encourage continuous improvement in Quality and Technical systems.
  • Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Merchandising, Production, and Marketing teams.

HOW WILL YOU ACHIEVE SUCCESS WITH US?

  • Extensive experience and understanding of luxury or premium menswear development processes, encompassing the entire product lifecycle.
  • Strong knowledge of menswear categories, including formal and casual segments, such as wovens, knits, jerseys, and leather.
  • Familiarity with product construction and patterns, with a hands-on approach to fitting.
  • Knowledge of quality AQL criteria and inspection protocols.
  • Experience in team management and/or overseeing cross-functional projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize a diverse workload.
  • Capacity to manage and adapt to change effectively.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset.
  • Proven track record of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment across multiple teams and markets.
