Beef Farming Coordinator

The Recruitment Group is pleased to collaborate with the leading Beef supply chain and processing organization in the UK and Ireland.
Role Overview:The Agricultural Coordinator will operate from a designated facility in Leicestershire.
Reporting to the Group Agriculture Management team, the selected candidate will engage in a diverse range of responsibilities, including farm visits, audits, and presentations to agricultural groups and clients. This role will support the implementation of Group Agricultural strategies and assist with procurement activities as necessary.
This position is tailored for individuals possessing extensive knowledge of Beef Farming. Working closely with the Agricultural team, you will be well-informed, equipped, and motivated to fulfill your duties, collaborating on farm research initiatives and enforcing animal welfare standards in accordance with customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promoting sustainable and environmentally friendly farming practices.
- Assisting farmers in the collection and submission of data to meet customer requirements and contractual obligations.
- Participating in industry events to enhance knowledge and expertise.
- Facilitating the effective communication of animal health information back to farmers.
- Supporting the management of on-farm research projects.
- Ensuring farmers are well-informed about customer requirements and expectations.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A background in an agricultural discipline is preferred.
- Experience in a farming environment is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- In-depth knowledge of beef farming practices is desired.
- Proficiency in IT is required.
- Access to personal transportation is necessary.
- Presentation skills are a plus.
- A proactive and positive attitude is essential.
