Role Overview:

The Agricultural Coordinator will operate from a designated facility in Leicestershire. This position reports directly to the Group Agriculture Management team and encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, including conducting farm visits, performing audits, and delivering presentations to agricultural groups and clients. The role also involves supporting the implementation of Group Agricultural strategies and assisting with procurement activities as necessary.

This position is tailored for individuals possessing a comprehensive understanding of Beef Farming. Working in conjunction with the Agricultural team, you will be well-informed, equipped, and motivated to fulfill your duties. You will collaborate on farm research initiatives and enforce animal welfare standards in accordance with customer specifications.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Advocating for efficient and environmentally sustainable farming practices.
  • Supporting farmers in the collection and submission of data required for customer contracts.
  • Participating in industry events to enhance knowledge and expertise.
  • Facilitating the effective communication of animal health information back to farmers.
  • Assisting in the management of on-farm research projects.
  • Ensuring farmers are well-informed about customer expectations and requirements.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • A background in an agricultural discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in a farming environment is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of beef farming practices is desired.
  • Proficiency in IT.
  • Access to personal transportation is necessary.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude.
