Executive Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at The Belfry Hotel & Resort. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality dishes to the highest standards.

• Set up and preparation of menu items for your section ready for food service
• Prepare food in advance for the coming week, including menu planning and inventory management
• Take ownership of the kitchen in the absence of the kitchen management team
• Cook and deliver beautifully crafted food using the best ingredients sourced from local suppliers
• Ensure accurate temperature logging for hot items and refrigerators to maintain compliance
• Run a section of the kitchen throughout a busy service, providing support to team members to ensure a fast and accurate delivery
• Clear and clean your section and other areas of the kitchen to maintain a high level of cleanliness and compliance
• Understand and implement COSHH and HACCP procedures for food storage
• Work towards guidelines of portion control, including weights and measurements, and log all wastage for accurate GP %

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Passionate about food and working with seasonal ingredients
• Standards-driven, with a fantastic eye for detail
• Experienced in taking ownership of your section and working towards guidelines of portion control
• Able to develop strong relationships with your team and colleagues
• Proficient in understanding of COSHH and HACCP procedures
