Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head/Executive Chefs in running the kitchen, ensuring seamless service delivery and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Manage breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, with a focus on consistency and efficiency.
  • Supervise and support a small team of chefs, providing guidance and training to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, kitchen inventory, and relevant paperwork to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and adhere to Health and Safety Regulations.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a high-volume kitchen environment, ideally with a background in busy services catering for up to 100 covers per service.
  • Hands-on experience in managing breakfast, lunch, and dinner services, with a focus on consistency and efficiency.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and support a small team.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety Regulations and a commitment to maintaining high standards of kitchen hygiene.
