We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Programme Officer to join the Pandemic Sciences Institute (PSI) Policy and Practice Research Group at the Nuffield Department of Medicine, University of Oxford.

The research group undertakes applied research to support policy stakeholders and funders for improved policy development and evidence-informed decision-making around research for infectious diseases, with a particular focus on low-and-middle-income countries (LMICs).

As a Programme Officer, you will be responsible for supporting the research group's activities, including project management, administration, and coordination. You will work closely with the Programme Manager and the research team to ensure the successful delivery of projects and programmes.

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify potential issues and suggest solutions. You will also have excellent IT skills, including experience using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

You will be educated to A-level or equivalent and have experience in administration or project management. You will also have the ability and willingness to actively contribute towards improving innovative ways of working and supporting the management of projects and research programmes.
