We are seeking a skilled and dedicated leader to join our team as Head of Art at Ark Victoria Academy. As a key member of our Extended Leadership Team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our art program and inspiring our students to excel in this creative field.
About the RoleThe Head of Art will be responsible for leading and managing our art department, ensuring that our students receive a high-quality education in visual arts. You will work closely with our teaching staff to develop and implement engaging lesson plans, assess student progress, and provide guidance and support to our students.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the art department, ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and curriculum
- Assess student progress and provide feedback
- Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
- Provide guidance and support to students
To be successful in this role, you will need to be passionate about art education and have a strong track record of leadership and management. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.
