They are committed to shaping sustainable and thriving communities and are currently in search of a seasoned Lead Planning Consultant to join their efforts.

In this role, you will be instrumental in overseeing and managing planning initiatives, contributing to the strategic development of the firm, and ensuring the delivery of top-notch services to clients.

You will be a vital member of their dynamic team, leveraging your expertise in urban planning, policy formulation, and appeals to achieve successful results.


Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a range of planning initiatives from start to finish.

  • Offer expert counsel and insights on planning policies and appeals.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities.
  • Draft and present high-quality planning submissions and reports.
  • Guide and mentor junior team members, promoting a collaborative and innovative workplace.
  • Hold a Chartered Town Planner status (MRTPI or equivalent) with a robust policy background.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in managing planning appeals and achieving successful outcomes.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of UK planning legislation and policy.
  • Exhibit strong project management capabilities with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
  • Be self-driven and proactive, with a dedication to ongoing professional development.
