Transport and Compliance Manager

Lanes Group is a leading infrastructure delivery partner, and we're seeking a skilled Transport and Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Transport Division, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our fleet operates safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Vehicle Maintenance:
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for our transportation fleet.
    • Collaborate with internal maintenance teams and external service providers to ensure timely and efficient repairs and inspections.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay up-to-date with UK transportation regulations and standards, ensuring compliance with local, national, and industry-specific laws.
    • Conduct regular audits to verify compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
    • Work closely with relevant authorities to address compliance issues and stay informed about updates.
    • Provide comprehensive training to drivers and other staff on safety procedures and compliance requirements.
    • Engage with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and clients to address concerns, provide updates, and foster positive relationships.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of vehicle inspections, maintenance, and compliance activities.
    • Generate reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators related to maintenance and compliance.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Collaborate effectively with external vendors for vehicle maintenance and compliance services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maintaining high-quality standards.
