Key Responsibilities:

  • Cost Management: Oversee project budgets to ensure cost-effective delivery and make informed decisions to minimize financial risks.
  • Procurement and Contracts: Lead procurement, negotiations, and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare valuations, monitor payments, and ensure accurate cost reporting to stakeholders.
  • Cost Efficiency and Risk Management: Provide guidance on cost efficiency and risk management to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Mentorship: Support and mentor junior surveyors to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the residential construction sector.
  • Project Management: Proven track record in managing new build projects from conception to completion.
  • Communication and Negotiation Skills: Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with project teams and stakeholders.
