Contract Type: Permanent - Fulltime
Shift Pattern: Sunday to Thursday, 06:00 - 18:00
Rate: Competitive
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Preparation team to guarantee effective ingredient preparation and transfer for production lines.
- Ensure adherence to safety, health, and environmental protocols, serving as a role model for the team.
- Implement Good Manufacturing Practices, including hygiene standards, and take corrective measures as necessary.
- Collaborate with the WIP Team Leader and Goods-In department to ensure timely ingredient preparation.
- Oversee ingredient traceability and mixing precision, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist with shift initiation checks and prepare the workspace for optimal operation.
- Reduce ingredient waste through proper weighing, stock rotation, and FIFO practices.
- Monitor ingredient shelf life to maintain product quality and freshness.
- Lead end-of-shift inventory checks, ensuring accuracy and managing disposals.
- Report any issues to the Line Manager in a timely manner and follow site management directives.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a food production setting is essential.
- Familiarity with manual handling tasks is preferred.
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is advantageous.
- Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided for all tasks and equipment.
