We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Akrivia Health. As a key member of our research team, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our precision psychiatry bioresource.
Key Responsibilities- Facilitate the efficient setup, monitoring, and closure of sites supporting our research project.
- Ensure the correct conduct of the study in accordance with the study protocol, relevant SOPs, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Perform Site Initiation Visits, sponsor oversight visits, and study closeout visits as required.
- Ensure that program data are complete, accurate, and verifiable from source as relevant.
- Establish and maintain supportive working relationships with key program contacts, including recruitment site contacts, and support the development of communication channels.
- Provide professional advice and guidance on the research program recruitment and assessment processes and procedures to internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and deliver training to study support staff at recruitment sites.
- Develop and refine processes and standard operating procedures for study elements in pursuit of delivering project goals.
- Contribute to strong stakeholder relationships within the company and with partner organization teams collaborating on the program.
- Liaise with operational partners and subcontractors involved with the project to achieve project goals.
- Record, maintain, and manage research records in conjunction with the study monitor and Project Manager(s).
- Contribute to relevant meetings such as steering groups, program boards, panels, project reviews, conferences, and workshops.
- Experience working in the field of mental health or other health-related discipline/related field.
- Experience of recruiting NHS patients into research studies and liaising with NHS sites, care homes, or third sector organizations to deliver recruitment.
- Background and experience of the research process.
- Proven ability to work unsupervised to deadline, planning and setting priorities for own work and that of others and monitoring progress.
- Proven ability to solve problems creatively.
- Ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience within NHS healthcare settings would be advantageous.
- Postgraduate/professional qualification.
- Experience of working with individuals with a history of mental illness, cognitive, and neurodevelopmental disorders including dementia.
