About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Physiologist to join our team at the NHS. As a key member of our Cardiac Diagnostic Department, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality diagnostic service to patients.

The successful candidate will possess highly specialized skills in Echocardiography and/or Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) and will be able to lead/manage an area within the department.

Main Responsibilities
  • To provide a timely and efficient diagnostic service to patients.
  • Responsibility for the day-to-day management of a section of the Cardiac Diagnostic Services department, ensuring provision of a quality service.
  • To train and support other staff members.
Key Requirements
  • BSc Healthcare Science or BSc (Hons) Clinical Physiology, or equivalent.
  • ILS accreditation.
  • BSE (adult) transthoracic accreditation.
  • IBHRE accreditation.
  • ALS accreditation.
  • NHS experience.
Person Specification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
