As a Cluster Meeting & Events Sales Co-ordinator, your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing all elements of the Meeting & Events department.
  • Maximizing profitability through effective cost management and supplier negotiations.

  • Ensuring timely distribution of function sheets to relevant departments, with attention to detail.
  • Handling daily conference billing and resolving any related queries.
  • Processing brochure requests and ensuring clients receive all necessary information.
  • Maintaining organized files for confirmations and relevant documentation.
  • Participating in weekly revenue and operations meetings, keeping figures current.
  • Identifying and pursuing new sales leads under the guidance of the Sales Manager.
  • Addressing complaints in a friendly and efficient manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Leading site inspections professionally.
  • Being knowledgeable about sister hotels for potential cross-selling opportunities.
  • Implementing the company's customer relations policy and communicating hotel services effectively.
  • Maintaining high standards of personal presentation.
  • Engaging in training and personal development initiatives to enhance performance.
  • Adhering to departmental standard operating procedures.
  • Ensuring a tidy and safe work environment and reporting any hazards or incidents to management.
