Macgregor Cavendish (UK) Ltd is a leading provider of global delivery solutions for seamless cross-border trade. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team and drive the successful acquisition of new business from retailers.

This role would suit a current BDM with a couple of years' experience in cross-border B2C delivery. You will be responsible for identifying, managing, and developing prospects for new business, ensuring revenue targets are achieved. You will work closely with our customers' senior management to identify opportunities to generate professional and comprehensive proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and Develop New Business Opportunities: Utilize your expertise to identify and develop new business opportunities from multiple sources, ensuring a high conversion of new business.
  • Develop and Manage Proposals: Work closely with customers to develop and manage proposals that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Negotiate and Implement Commercial Agreements: Negotiate and implement commercial agreements with customers to drive additional business and achieve revenue targets.
  • Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, becoming a trusted advisor and expert in their industry.
  • Collaborate with Sales Team: Work closely with the Head of Sales and other team members to drive the overall sales pipeline and achieve business growth.
  • Prospect for New Customers: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, utilizing your expertise to create and capitalize on leads.
  • Manage Data and CRM: Ensure accurate and up-to-date data is logged and maintained in our CRM system, providing valuable insights to drive business growth.
