Job Title: Associate Director - Claims and Dispute Resolution

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team in Central London. As a key member of our construction claims consultancy, you will be responsible for managing your own workload and working on projects/disputes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage your own workload and be self-sufficient while working on projects/disputes.
  • Work predominantly on building sector projects using your delay analysis/forensic planning skills to provide dispute resolution services.
  • Prepare prospective and retrospective analyses of delays across a wide variety of construction and engineering projects.
  • Prepare written reports for use in dispute resolution processes, including mediation, adjudication and litigation.
  • Prepare or defend extension of time claims on behalf of employers, main contractors and sub-contractors.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience as a construction project planner.
  • Ability to use a variety of planning software, including Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject and Microsoft Project.
  • Good working knowledge of various standard forms of contract including NEC and JCT.
  • Detailed understanding of different methods of delay analysis and the ability to apply those methodologies.
