Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our team at a leading FMCG manufacturer. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting reactive and planned maintenance on high-speed production machinery, responding to unscheduled plant stoppages, and working closely with the engineering and production team to ensure maximum efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:- Conducting Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and inspection of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Equipment Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, using technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the engineering and production teams to ensure smooth operations, communicate effectively with colleagues and management, and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Quality and Safety: Maintain a high level of quality and safety awareness, adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, suggesting process improvements and implementing changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Education and Qualifications: Recognized engineering qualification, such as a degree or diploma in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Proven experience in electrical maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of high-speed production machinery and control systems.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
- Certifications and Training: Possess relevant certifications, such as food safety awareness, and participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
