Position Overview

Park Green Surgery is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner (Salaried) to join our well-established and thriving practice. We are committed to patient continuity and actively engage with the Primary Care Network (PCN) to enhance integrated services within the community.

Key Responsibilities

As a Salaried GP, you will be responsible for:

  1. Delivering exceptional medical care to our patient population.
  2. Providing services in accordance with the PMS contract and PCN guidelines.
  3. Prescribing medications while adhering to local and national protocols.
  4. Effectively managing long-term health conditions in line with quality outcomes.
  5. Handling administrative tasks promptly, including referrals and prescription requests.
  6. Participating in telephone triage and duty doctor responsibilities on a rotational basis.
  7. Maintaining accurate clinical documentation in compliance with best practices.
  8. Collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to share the practice workload.
  9. Following clinical guidelines and participating in the audit process for continuous improvement.
  10. Engaging in practice meetings and contributing to team discussions.
  11. Committing to ongoing professional development and supporting the practice's strategic goals.

About Our Practice

Our practice serves a population of approximately 11,000 patients and boasts a friendly and cohesive team comprising 4 GPs, 3 Advanced Nurse Practitioners, and a Home Visiting Nurse. We have a robust management and support structure, including an in-house Clinical Pharmacist and Home Visiting Matron. Our team also collaborates with PCN staff, including Clinical Pharmacists and First Contact Physiotherapists.
