Production Operative Job Description

Proman is currently recruiting for production operatives to join their team at a prestigious boiler company based in Bamber Bridge, Preston. As a production operative, you will be responsible for working with the production team to manufacture and assemble products in accordance with the production plan and business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of a team to ensure the factory KPIs and objectives are delivered.
  • Manufacture and assembly of boiler products using specialist equipment and machinery.
  • Carry out basic tasks allocated by the supervisory management team in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure a high standard of housekeeping is maintained throughout the factory.
  • Support the factory operatives with other tasks as and when required within the day-to-day running of the factory.
  • Carry out any other tasks deemed reasonable and relevant within any production area of the factory.
  • Operate in accordance with health and safety regulations, company policy, and departmental procedures.
  • Demonstrate a willingness and desire to work co-operatively and supportively with others as a member of a team to achieve factory targets.
  • Receive, handle, and allocate materials to meet production requirements.
