Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at GSL Education. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex needs, including Social Emotional and Mental Health, Autism, and Behavioural Challenges.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualized support to children with challenging behaviour, Social and Emotional Mental Health, Autism, and those who have been through the care system.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement behaviour interventions.
  • Ensure the child's safety and well-being at all times.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide a comprehensive support package for the child.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with complex needs, including Social Emotional and Mental Health, Autism, and Behavioural Challenges.
  • Ability to work on a 1:1 basis with children and provide individualized support.
  • Clear Enhanced DBS (Child Workforce/ Child and Adult Workforce) registered to the Update Service.
  • Availability for Full-Time Work – Monday to Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm.
  • Teaching Assistant qualifications or equivalent (not essential).
