Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RF Systems Engineer to join our team in Bristol, UK. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex RF systems for next-generation Radio Frequency Directed Energy Weapons (RFDEW) and Missile programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop RF systems, including platform integration and through-life support
  • Develop and implement algorithms for RF and electronic systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate RF systems into larger defence systems
  • Develop and maintain RF performance models
  • Oversee the transition of development hardware into production, including environmental testing, qualification testing, and design certification

Requirements

  • British citizen holding or willing to obtain DV clearance
  • Strong technical understanding of RF and electronic systems, algorithm design, and implementation
  • Knowledge and understanding of Integrated Air Defence Systems
  • Supplier management experience
  • System design engineering skills, including requirements elicitation, decomposition, and management; system design, integration, and test; system verification and validation
  • Proficient in SysML, DOORS, and/or Rhapsody

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary: £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)
  • Annual bonus: circa £2,500
  • Optional paid overtime: flat rate (1.25)
  • Up to 15 additional days of flexi leave
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
  • Pension: 14% (6% Employee and 8% Employer)
